Last week I took my girls out to a spot of shade in my backyard, let them pick there outfits) and even wear a touch of makeup), and took some pictures. They were fabulous and such natural models!

A few months ago my parents left on their mission to Montreal. The ONLY thing they wanted before they left was a picture of their kids - all together. So we got together one Sunday afternoon and I took some pictures of the whole group and of each individual family.

One of my best friends Julie and her sweet new baby Dylan came over a few weeks ago for some pictures. He was definitely a mamma's boy and would have been happy to stay in her arms ALL day long. But we managed to get a few (more than a few actually) really great pictures of him. How could you not with a boy as sweet as this?

Just getting started

I've been thinking about and planning this for quite some time. And I think the time is right. I'm going to start taking pictures...for real. I started playing around with photography over 5 years ago with the purchase of my first DSLR camera. Over the years I've learned from some of the best in the industry and taken a few courses. But I've mostly just practiced, practiced and practiced some more. I've upgraded my equipment and my knowledge with each passing year and I feel like the time is right. Since I'm just starting out I am offering a limited time family photoshoot at a reduced rate of $100.
